Thanks to its unique atmosphere, the astonishing programme and the myth surrounding the ancient roman theatre, the festival Rock oz’Arènes developed very well over the past few years and established its place among the most remarkable Swiss festivals.

The 2000-year old historical site did not lose one bit of its attraction and is still drawing more and more visitors. Where gladiators used to fight wild beasts, rock stars from all over the world now play, celebrating the universal language of music. Whoever has visited the festival, immediately succumbed to its charm, the great acoustics and the magical aura of this unique event.

Founded in 1992 and organised by Art Contacts, the 17th edition of Rock Oz’Arènes will take place from August 13th to 16th 2008. The committee of organisation is already preparing next year’s event in order to improve its general quality. May the gods be with us. Ave!
